COOKING & CULTURE

Nothing defines the beautiful culture clash of a British-Korean marriage better than that moment when Kimchi enters the fridge space.

Kimchi, delicious as it is, boasts a pungent aroma that seems to permeate all other food items in the fridge, which is ok for most foods like vegetables and meats, but it doesn't go quite so well with the milk I have everyday for my breakfast.
Actually it's not so bad... or i've just gotten used to it, but it was a momentous occasion none the less and a good reminder of our diversity in our unity.

We've been sharing the cooking most days so it's been good to have a variety of meals, two recent attempts I enjoyed making were a shepherds pie and an english breakfast... you do become far more aware of your national identity living abroad.
